I upgraded my Firefox to 3.5 but my prefered extension Firebug needed an update to work with this new version of Firefox.
But trying to update or download an extension from Firefox gave me a download error -228.
Even with another browser...so maybe its a server problem.
Anyone also get this error?
Meanwhile I found out that exchanging from the extension url the "https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/" by "http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/addons/" I could access the folders and install/download the extension :-)
Ouch! This error is making me crazy. I tried to change the url, but still get the same message. I tried to use konqueror and I could not download de add-on too... If you've resolved this problem, post here to way to do this. Thank's

Porque estamos falando em inglês? rsrsrs ... Sim eu tentei, não deu certo. Mas achei uma maneira de instalar os complementos. Pelo ftp - http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/addons/

Achei essa alternativa depois de já ter deixado o post aqui. Por isso q escrevi: "achei uma maneira de instalar complementos."
